The DePaul Catholic Fund is the primary way for parents, grandparents, friends and alumni to provide financial support to the school. Your generous gifts to the DePaul Catholic Fund will ensure that DePaul Catholic students have an extraordinary experience rooted in our Roman Catholic and Vincentian traditions, rich in academic excellence, faith formation, vibrant co-curricular activities and community service. Here are our areas of need:
Financial Aid:
Unrestricted Giving
DePaul Catholic Financial aid is made possible through unrestricted giving. This unrestricted giving helps keep a DePaul Catholic education affordable which aligns well with the mission and core values of DePaul Catholic High School and our patron saints St. Vincent DePaul and Elizabeth Ann Seton. We are extremely grateful for your willingness to join with us in fulfilling our mission to transform our students into the servant leaders we know that they are capable of becoming.
Financial Aid: Adopt-A-Student Programs
DePaul Catholic has long-standing "Adopt-A-Student" programs that are the backbone of the funding for the school’s financial aid program. Adopting a student through our Alumni Scholars Program is a fantastic way to make a DePaul Catholic education affordable to a deserving student.
Academic Merit Scholarships
The DePaul Catholic Administration is committed to help all students that have the capacity to meet the academic rigor of DePaul Catholic High School to attend the school. Academic Merit Scholarships are awarded based on middle school academic performance and coursework, High School Placement Test (HSPT) scores, strong recommendations and student interviews.
Athletics
DePaul Catholic Athletics complements its rigorous academic program and provides another arena in which students can succeed. The personal growth and achievements realized by our student-athletes and our teams provide students with a balance between academic pursuits, physical endeavors, and social interaction. Through our strong athletic programs, our student-athletes build character by learning commitment, self-discipline, self-motivation, self-sacrifice, teamwork, and accountability. Competitive Athletics helps our students improve their decision-making abilities and grow in courage, perseverance, integrity, and develop respect for themselves and others.
Clubs and Campus Ministry
The DePaul Catholic Administration believes that involvement in clubs, societies and Campus Ministry service and prayer activities should be a meaningful and integral part of each student’s overall education. Opportunities for personal growth and development also exist outside of the classroom. Our students participate in dozens of clubs and co-curricular activities.
We believe that teaching our students the doctrine, traditions and practices of the Catholic Church should be a meaningful and integral part of each student’s education. The Campus Ministry Program serves as the center of spiritual development for our students, fostering a sense of social responsibility and a spirit of service as modeled by Saints Vincent de Paul, Louise de Marillac and Elizabeth Ann Seton.
Capital Investments
The DePaul Catholic Administration believes that a clean, well-maintained school and grounds helps create strong school morale; increases the productivity of its faculty and staff; contributes to the academic and co-curricular success of its students and makes a significant contribution towards creating a healthy learning atmosphere, producing a positive learning experience.
We are committed to consistently improving and upgrading our facilities and maintaining and improving our equipment and information technology to enhance and improve the overall work experience of its faculty and staff and to provide the best possible learning environment and experience to its students.
